Continental Carbon is recognized as a leader in the development, manufacture and supply of furnace grade carbon black, super conductive carbon black and nanotubes used in tires, powercables, and other applications. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Continental Carbon owns and operates production facilities in Phenix City, Alabama; Ponca City, Oklahoma; and Sunray, Texas. Additionally, Continental Carbon maintains a research and development laboratory in Houston that provides analytical research for both internal product development and external customer support. Marketing and sales offices are located in Houston, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Akron, Ohio. A bulk distribution center in Barberton, Ohio supports the needs of many customers in the midwestern and northern region of the country, thus assuring prompt and economic delivery to all sections of the country. Continental Carbon also provides carbon black product for the India Market through the wholly owned subsidiary, Continental Carbon India Ltd., near New Delhi, India.
